I know, I know. I haven't blogged in FOREVER!! Getting into the swing of things with my job is taking some getting used to. Evenings are family time and then once Logan hits the bed, I either spend quality time with my husband or I try to get everything done around the house that needs getting done. Our dishwasher has been broke for the last 3 weeks, so I have been doing a lot of dishes. I hate doing dishes. Ugh. It's fixed now, so maybe I can spend that extra 20 minutes blogging instead!
Our life is pretty good right now. Logan is getting so big. He's talking so much more and we actually understand a good portion of what he is saying. He is finally saying his name (which sounds more like Bo-ang than Logan, but still!). He has phased into the school system's speech therapy, but I hope he will get so good in the next few months that he won't need it for very long!
Here's a good Logan story to keep you going.
Logan came home from school this week and I asked how his day was. His usual response is "I play" or "Turn this way, turn that way." (I haven't figured out what that means...maybe they turn a lot at school?). On this specific day, here's our conversation:
L: "No no no no no" while shaking his finger at me.
Me: "Did you get in trouble?"
L: "Yes".
Me: "What for Logan?"
L: "No hit."
Me: "Did you hit someone Logan?"
L: "I hit Max."
At this point, I'm asking Jeff if the teachers said anything about Logan hitting a child named Max. Jeff says the teachers reported he had a good day that day at school.
Me: "Did you really hit someone, Logan"
L: "I hit Max." (all the while he's giggling)
The next day, Jeff checked the list of kids in the classroom. There is no Max. The teache's still haven't mentioned anything about Logan hitting someone (and they usually bring up incidents like this), but Logan is still insisting, several days later, that he hit Max. Curiosity is about to kill me, so I think I am going to have to ask his teachers if Logan did, in fact, hit another classmate...possibly named Max. Oh dear...
