Why was I a single mom? Well, my husband was sent out of town for work 10 days out of 14 and then returned home to work 7 days in a row. We haven't seen a lot of each other to say the least!
I've returned to the normal Monday through Friday grind and LOVE it! I am so happy to be in my new position. Logan is adjusting well to going to his school/daycare every day other than the shorter naps. He is a little cranky because he isn't able to get as much sleep. I don't blame him.
I am going to try to keep up with the blog now that I am back to work, but it will most likely not be as often as before. My goal is one post a week. We shall see.
I'm going to use this post as a little update of how Logan is doing with life in general.
Let's do this in list format!
- He's cuter and cuter every. single. day.
- He has taken to saying "Oh dear." in the most adorable tone of voice when something doesn't go his way. He picked it up from his Nonnie one weekend.
- His speech is really taking off. He talks in full sentences that are understandable at least 50% of the time. He is now telling us how his day was and able to let us know what he wants and needs with his words. He hardly ever uses signs anymore. Every day he gets a little better.
- He loves Batman.

- He apparently likes to sing the Batman song "Nananananananana Batman!" while pooping on the potty at school. His teachers were pretty amused.
- Potty training is going. He has accidents here and there, but only wears diapers at night now. Hooray!
- He has an iPad addiction. Mostly our fault (ok, all our fault). We have told him the iPad is gone. He is still grieving the loss.
- He loves to cook with Mommy!

- He is an early riser. Ugh. This is not good for this night owl girl! He pads out of his room at approximately 545 am most mornings. Bright eyed and bushy tailed until about 8 am when he begins to get cranky.
- He insists that there are "bees" in our house and before he goes to bed his bedroom door must be shut to "keep bees out"
- He is not a fan of clothes. He prefers to run around in his underwear. "No like those shoes." "Those pants hurt me", etc. are often heard phrases around this house.
- I apologize to our neighbors who see my half naked son running around the yard or, on occasion, wandering down the sidewalks of our subdivision with me.
Ok, that is enough for tonight! I am very excited to be heading back to church tomorrow morning! No real consistent church for the past two and a half years has taken its toll on me. I am so ready to get back into the church!
