I'm a Little Ashamed That...

-Jeff and I took our PJ clad no shoe wearing toddler into a grocery store this morning to pick up a couple 12 packs of Lime-A-Ritas (Hey-we can't find them around our house and we were out of town and finally found a store that carried them!)
-Logan ate hot dogs for two of his three main meals today...
-I resorted to letting Logan veg out for a bit with Youtube videos on the iPad so I could figure out how to use new software for my Silhouette Cameo.
-Logan pulled his pants down and peed in our front yard facing a main road...I don't think any cars drove by, but if they did, I am sure they got a REALLY good laugh!  I mean, come on, I was just happy that he peed on his own!
-Logan and I were the fools running down the subdivision sidewalk roaring like dinosaurs with Logan wearing nothing but shirt, Pullup, and shoes.  Don't worry-I was fully clothed!

It was an interesting day around here for sure.  Did you do anything you were a little ashamed of today?

Logan was all about the Police gear at his buddy Chase's house!

What Little Boys Love!

Logan had a great birthday party!  He got LOTS of new toys and we have opened most of them and tried them all out.  He's been in heaven!  His grandparents really hit the mark this year with a baseball tee from Grandma and Pappy and a bounce house from Nonna and Papa.

You'd be surprised the hand eye coordination Logan has?!?!

I got in the bounce house for a few seconds.  Even though, Logan and I were nowhere near the weight limit, I felt like I was gonna pop it!

One happy boy

Air Time
Logan's party was not on his actual birthday so we did a little birthday cake time for him on his actual birthday with the leftover cupcakes from the party!
This is the cutest 3 year old I know!!

He is really good at blowing out the candles!
Our house looks like a toy store right now and Logan has been enjoying everything.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate his life with!!

Logan's Dino-rific 3rd Birthday Party!

Boy, oh, boy!  Did we have some fun with Logan's birthday this year!  Last year was fun, but this year was awesome!  He was really into his birthday this year.  We prepared for his birthday by singing "Happy Birthday To Me" over and over and over and over...followed by blowing out of pretend candles.
He picked the theme several months ago.  Dinosaurs.  Of course.
With my handy dandy new Silhouette machine and help from Pinterest, I made a good portion of Logan's party decorations and favor boxes.  I had one small hang up when the blade broke and I had to overnight a new blade so that I could get everything ready.  I'm pretty sure Jeff thinks I was a little crazy about the party, but Logan and his guests all had a good time and loved it!
I was pretty busy with things during the party, but between my Dad and I, we got a few pictures!  (Ok, a lot of pictures!  Bear with me.  This isn't even a quarter of the pictures my Dad took.)

The Happy Birthday Banner and the cake table (before the cake arrived)

I got this idea from Pinterest but modified it a bit by using our Wedding vase, dinosaurs, and glass beads!

Favor boxes and Dinosaur party hats!  I cut each and everyone of these on my cool machine!

I made fun little signs for all of the foods.  I found the name ideas on the Internet for the most part, but I did come up with the "Tea Rex He's not Sweet" for the unsweetened tea!

Besides Brontosaurus burgers and Dino dogs, we also had Raptor salad (pasta salad), Dino bones (pretzel sticks), Dino Toenails (bugles), Fossil Fries (potato chips), and an Herbivore Section (veggie and fruit tray).
The cake turned out amazing!  Thank you Something Sweet!!

Logan and his Pappy getting ready to party!

Jacklyn was not too happy about Jeff holding her!

Cortland had a lot of fun!

I think Great Grandma Jenny's face is priceless in this photo!  Logan was attacking Lillie with his new dinosaur!

Here's a fairly decent shot of the birthday shirt I made for Logan!

I'm not sure how Veronica got the dino hat on Logan's head, but I was glad to get a picture!

Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!?!

Baby Jacklyn was extremely popular!

There was a lot of pass the baby going on!

Yes, Logan is dipping his carrot directly into the dip container...and yes those are awesome dinosaur socks he has on!  My mom sewed them for him!

The bubble machine was a huge hit with the kids!

"Pop"

Priceless!

Logan and Addy always in constant motion!

Logan sampled the icing before we lit the candles!

Logan was so cute when everyone was singing "Happy Birthday".  He cheesed like this almost the whole time!

All that practice paid off

"Yummy!"

Lillie kept licking her icing off and coming back for more!

I'm pretty sure the kids were super happy with the party!

Opening his new bounce house from Nonna and Papa

Logan had lots of help opening presents

Don't worry, Logan did not hit Lillie with his new baseball bat!  He was just practicing his hitting stance.

Our little dinosaurs!

"Hooray!"

This was one VERY happy Birthday Boy!

Wee-Ooooo...Weeeeee-Ooooooo!

Logan got to take a trip to the local fire department this week!  I have never seen him so well behaved.  He was enthralled by the whole ordeal!  I have to give props to the local fire department because they did awesome with a huge group of toddlers!  They even had a little video "Elmo goes to the Firehouse" for the kids to watch.  It means so much to a Mom when people go above and beyond their job duties to influence a child in a positive way!

Logan and Addy dancing for joy in the firehouse!

Logan was taking in every word Mr. Firefighter was saying

He was showing the boys the key to turn on the water!

Logan was pointing at the other firetruck in the garage

Logan was very excited about his new firefighter hat!

Future Firefighter?

Dog had to help Logan out driving the firetruck.

Partners in crime?

This photo says so much about Logan and Addy...always into something...

But always having a good time!

"Hey!  Help us climb up here!"

"This is so much fun!!"
Logan has been wearing his hat all the time and keeps telling everyone about the "ditrucks".
